What it is
Speech therapy helps children build confidence in communication—from first words to fluent conversations. Using play-based learning, your child practices articulation, language comprehension, expressive language, and social communication in ways that feel natural and fun.

Who we serve

  • Children and teens with or without a diagnosis — whether you already have a report or you simply have concerns and want guidance.

  • Ages birth–18 — including toddlers, school-age children, adolescents, and young adults preparing for independence.

  • For specific communication needs, see “Who We Help” for more detail.

We help those with

  • Speech & Language Delays – Limited vocabulary, difficulty following directions, or unclear speech.

  • Stuttering / Fluency – Tension, repetition, or avoidance when speaking.

  • Apraxia – Motor-planning challenges affecting clarity and sequencing.

  • Autism / Social Communication – Turn-taking, perspective-taking, emotional language.

  • ADHD / Executive Function – Planning, storytelling, and self-monitoring in communication.

  • Literacy Difficulties – Reading, spelling, and written expression support.

Jenn’s approach

Jenn’s therapy style is neurodiversity-affirming, meaning she values each child’s communication style, strengths, and wiring. She doesn’t try to “fix” who a child is—she helps them communicate in ways that feel natural, confident, and authentic to them.

Her sessions focus on functional communication—the real-life skills children need at home, in school, and in the community. Whether that’s asking for help, joining a conversation, expressing emotions, reading with confidence, or using AAC effectively, Jenn teaches skills that make everyday life easier, happier, and more connected.

Jenn also works through multi-disciplinary collaboration, partnering with parents, teachers, pediatricians, and other therapists whenever needed. This ensures your child’s communication goals are supported across all environments and by all members of their care team.

Every session is goal-directed and data-driven, with progress tracked clearly and transparently. Jenn documents each child’s journey with precision and clarity so families always know what their child is working on, why it matters, and what progress looks like.

Because Jenn embraces Dr. Maria Montessori’s philosophy of respecting each child’s curiosity, independence, and hand-on experiences, she encourages learning through warm, playful interactions that follow the child’s lead and help build connection, emotional regulation, and meaningful communication.

Her approach blends evidence-based methods with play, relationship, and family coaching—so communication skills grow not only in the therapy room, but in the real world where your child lives, learns, and plays.
